4. Summary
In summary the activities in the first phase of the Programme have created the basis for the future elaboration of the Culture of Peace Programme in Mozambique. Many partners have been identified and familiarity has been gained with the ongoing activities promoted by various organizations. These organizations have become aware of the Culture of Peace Programme and, in many cases, already taken part in its development. In carrying out a number of projects, the Programme has learned lessons from its mistakes as well as its accomplishments, and the positive aspects that have been gained need to be consolidated. The ground is ready and the first seeds have been planted.
