Most of my scientific work during the 22 years I taught at Weleyan University (1970-1992) was conducted in collaboration with students. In this context, I started sending out a Christmas letter beginning in 1973, to all of the students with whom I had worked. By the time I left Wesleyan in the early 90's to go to UNESCO, the number of student collaborators, either in research or in teaching, had grown to over a hundred.
As a memoire of my own life, and in homage to all with whom I worked, I have put these letters on line, as follows:
